Command 925: 1995 Chevrolet 3500 4WD: Type 1 ambulance; purchased in 1995 with CDPHE funds, now converted to a SAR unit. Rescue 926: 2002 Chevrolet Suburban 2500 4WD: Rescue/SAR; Purchased in 2002 with CDPHE funds/RFPD match.

The new Rico Ambulance “Rescue 925” rides a 2017 Ford F-350 chassis featuring a safety concept design – including 4-point harnesses, a liquid-spring suspension and a FLIR camera to avoid surprises during night transports.
The purchase of this custom unit "Rescue 925" was funded through: CDPHE; Dolores County; RFPD; Rico resident Michael Halcoussis; SWRETAC and the Rico Center.
